Project

Knickerbocker Standing Seam Metal Roof

A standing seam metal roof installed on a cedar-sided home set deep in the ponderosa pines.

Material
Standing seam metal
Type
Metal roof installation
Location
Bend, OR
Cedar-sided home with a finished standing seam metal roof surrounded by ponderosa pines
This wood-sided home in the pines received a full standing seam metal roof. The crew stripped the roof, prepped the deck and dried it in with new underlayment before installing panels. Each metal panel was measured, cut and finished on site, then carried up and set one at a time. The finished roof runs continuous panels with clean eave and skylight detailing, well suited to heavy snow and pine debris.
