NW Scandia Composition Roof Replacement

This Bend home sits on a heavily wooded lot under mature ponderosa pines, and the roof was taken all the way back to the framing. The crew stripped the old roofing, opened the rafter bays, removed the deteriorated insulation and replaced it, then laid new sheathing across the entire roof deck. Full protective suits and respirators were worn during insulation removal. The finished roof is a composition shingle system with skylights, ridge ventilation and clean valley and eave detailing throughout.
